Business Analyst – Insurance


We are looking, on behalf of our client, for a Business Analyst specialized in the insurance sector to support their digital transformation and business process optimization initiatives.

As part of a dynamic team, you will contribute to strategic projects aimed at modernizing information systems, enhancing user experience, and improving operational efficiency. Acting as a key interface between business and technical teams, you will ensure a clear understanding of requirements, define functional solutions, and help implement high-value projects.

Your mission will cover a variety of contexts, including the implementation of new solutions, redesign of existing processes, and support for large-scale transformation programs.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Analyze insurance business processes (life, non-life, claims, underwriting, etc.) and identify opportunities for optimization and digitalization.
  • Gather, challenge, and formalize functional requirements from both business and technical teams.
  • Translate business strategy and requirements into practical solutions, ensuring alignment between business processes and IT systems.
  • Create and maintain functional documentation (user stories, specifications, process flows, use cases).
  • Contribute to transformation projects (tool modernization, automation, system migration, process redesign).
  • Coordinate internal teams (IT, business, compliance, operations) and external stakeholders (partners, vendors, consultants).
  • Support users during testing, training, and adoption phases of new tools.
  • Define and monitor operational performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact and effectiveness of implemented changes.

Profile Required:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Consultant, or Project Manager in the insurance sector.
  • Solid understanding of the insurance product lifecycle.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a structured and results-oriented approach.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present solutions to C-level stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in French or Dutch and English.
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills, attention to detail, and rigor.
  • Team spirit, customer-oriented mindset, and high commitment to quality.
  • Enthusiasm, curiosity, and passion for insurance and digital transformation.
